Teeswater Curling Club Women's Fun Night

5 of the guys showed up to get the Ice ready for the Ladies Fun Night & help out with the 1st part of the night, so everyone could get comfortable on the ice & a little bit of Training, 15 Ladies showed up & looked like they were having Fun, anyone else wanting to join in let us know or show up on Thursday Night at 8:00 pm.

Teeswater Curling Club Wednesday afternoon curlers have started & are looking for more people that are looking for something to do, come out & join them at 1:00 pm until about 3:00 pm, a clean pair of running shoes is all that's needed, all existing members & New members are welcome.

Tuesday Night Fun Night has started & is still looking for a few Curlers

Our game ended in a tie after the 8th end & this was the 4th rock thrown before it was broke, 7-6 very close game.

A Thank You for running last years School Program

Hopefully we can get enough volunteers to run the Program again this year. Our Junior Curling Program is started & we are welcoming new curlers, so if you have someone in school 10 years & older bring them out to try Friday Night from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.

Teeswater Curling Club Juniors have a visit from a Film Crew

The Junior Curling fun night had 19 members out & CBC was there to try Curling & interview Linda & a few Youth, everybody enjoyed themselves, we are talking about a $20.00 fee for membership & I have New Orleans Pizza Cards for sale as a fundraiser for the Junior Club & we are hoping to have a Curling Bonspiel in Teeswater Curling Club in the March Break & the funds raised would help of set the cost.

Teeswater Youth Curling Club Fundraiser

The Youth Club will have New Orleans Community Support Cards for sale, the Club gets $10.00 for every card & when you buy 2 pizzas at Regular prices you get to choose from a Free Pizza, Cheesy Strips, Garlic Bread with Cheese, 4 cans of Pop or a regular Caesar Salad, Card valid until Jun 30-13 valid at all Locations.

New Membership Fees

Membership fees are $250.00 Per year or $170.00 Per year with 10 hours Volunteering throughout the year or New Members that haven't curled before or in the last 10 years is $225.00, things are looking good,

Teeswater Curling Club Members Painting the Ice

Everything is looking great, the Ice plant was started Nov 1 & ice was started to be made, with a couple floods a day the base was in & the ice was painted white, last night the circles were put on the Ice & the red & blue was painted & some of the lines were put down, tonight they finished the lines & will start flooding twice a day again until they can plane the ice hopefully next Wednesday. Things are looking very good for the Fun Night next Friday. Any of the Ladies thinking of joining the new ladies night on Thursday's need to let us know by Friday November 16th or we won't be able to have it for the 1st half of the season, teams will be made for Tuesday & Friday night after that, The Executive would like to Thank all of the Volunteers that have helped with the Ice Preparation.

The Teeswater Curling Club is gearing up for another fantastic season of winter fun. If you have never tried curling and would like to, come to our Open House on Friday, November 16th at 8:00pm. School Curling Program

The Teeswater Curling Club ran a 4 week program for Grade 5,6,7 & 8 ending it with a fun day with Hillcrest & Sacred Heart playing against each other & having Cake donated by Boomer's Cozy & Chocolate Milk donated by Gay Lea Foods on Feb 29/12 Happy Leap Day.

Teeswater Junior Curling Program will be starting Friday Nov 23/12 6:00pm - 7:30pm & run every Friday Night until Dec 21/12, restart January 11/13 & run every Friday night until March 15/13

Free Curling & Open House

The Teeswater Curling Club is having a open house fun night on Friday Nov 16/12, all are welcome to come out & see what the club is all about, all you need is a pair of clean running shoes, we have Brooms & Sliders for you to give Curling a try. Curling will be on Tuesday &/or Friday nights depending on when you can make it, the Seniors Curling is Wednesday afternoons all year & Monday afternoons starting in January. The Junior Curling Program is yet to be set up but it will likely run Friday evenings from 6pm until 7:30pm, starting date is yet to be decided. The Club is hoping to set-up the School Program again this year with Grade 5 to Grade 8 as long as we get enough Volunteers.
